Away from the crowds

Wow! What an amazing first ski trip we had in the safe hands of Team Lucille at Ski Miquel! The wonderful staff could not do enough to ensure we had a warm welcome and everything we needed for our stay. The meals were delicious and evenings in our cosy chalet were an absolute delight. The Ski Miquel set up is clearly a well oiled machine and we had the best time as part of a large group. The accommodation was clean and location was brilliant – easy reach of everything in the heart of Montgenèvre. The scenery is STUNNING! Some of the experienced skiers really enjoyed the guide service which is an added bonus and I hope I can go with them next time. The chalet’s own bar was great value too! Big thanks to Max, Hugo, Aggie and Co. for an amazing experience. It was so good we've booked again for next year and hope to see some familiar faces x 🙌 👏

Just had a week with Ski Miquel staying at this chalet. We had a fantastic week which can be put down to the staff under the great management of Idan. He was also an excellent ski guide for the week. The skiing and the town of Bad Gastein are brilliant and there are lots to see and do either in town or by taking the train into Salzburg. A big thank you to you all!

Excellent value for money. The Chalet Staff are friendly and helpful. Ski Guiding available. The Chalet is about a 5 min walk to Gondola. Ski lockers available by lift system. Ski hire through Ski Miquel is very well organized and the skis are well maintained. There is an excellent evening meal. The dining room and bar encourage guests to meet others. Flights and transfer coach are included and gives 6 full days for skiing. Chalet rooms vary in size according to need. Clean and warm and never ran out of hot water.

We have just returned from a week at the chalet-hotel Tannenburg in Bad Gastein. We had a fantastic week and really enjoy the relaxed chalet-hotel model Ski Miquel make the most of (this was our fifth stay in a Ski Miquel chalet). The chef Paulo and his assistant chef made fantastic meals all week and really went out of their way to make good delicious food for our daughter which she was able to have earlier as waiting until 8pm would have been too long for her. Paolo was also lovely to chat to over cake after a long day skiing. Idan, Iona, Rebecca and Tom were very friendly, helpful and generally pleasant to be around each day. We had a few beginners and a child so we didn’t join the ski guiding this year but the other guests seemed to really enjoy it and only had good things to say about the guides and the trips to Sportgastein and Dorfgastein. Wednesday is the night off - we took the chair lift to the belle alm for fondue which we recommend but booking ahead is necessary and the Felsentherme spa is worth a trip, discount is available if you book 3 trips at once.

Just returned from a great trip skiing, Hotel Charlotte is a lovely place to stay, nice rooms, lovely food, and helpful friendly staff, The skiing area was great for us although a little more snow would have been great, lots of choices to eat and drink on the mountain, we loved going out with the hosts as they were very knowledgeable of the area and conditions, we skied with the other guests and the staff every day, it was like a extended family holiday, we will definitely be going back to Ski Miquel.

We had our first Christmas in Switzerland with Ski Miquel. Another amazing week. Extra special over the Christmas week. Little touches like Santa Claus visit. It was the first week of the season the staff were amazing. Had to go high to get the good snow but it was worth it. It was just three of us this trip but that doesn’t matter as the chalet crowd are always friendly. Will be booking next year’s Christmas with Ski Miquel.

This was our first Ski Miquel holiday for myself and 15 year old son and certainly won't be our last, we loved the personal service of the chalet and the wonderful all round support from the team, the food was delicious and plentiful. Our room was spacious with plenty of storage available, we enjoyed many social evenings in the comfortable lounge bar with the other guests and hosts. Location is fabulous being close to the ski lift. The ski guiding was fantastic (especially Amalia) as they could show us the best pistes and restaurants on the mountains, also able to accommodate everyone's different abilities on the slopes, always happy to help or give advice about every aspect of the holiday, nothing seemed too much trouble for them and it was a relaxed welcome atmosphere.

1 week skiing with Ski Miquel. When we rolled up at the hotel Lucille we couldn't believe it, a lovely wooden chalet with fabulous views over some of the pistes we were to explore for our first time. Great facilities, food and drink, and lots of help and advice from hosts and returners. So good we're going back again this year!! Says it all really? Just do it.

We had such an amazing time at Chalet Rosa at the beginning of March. We travelled with Ski Miquel. The staff were amazing, friendly, welcoming and helpful, the food was superb. The ski guiding was so enjoyable and enabled us to travel to the various ski areas without having to worry about how to get there, etc. The skiing itself couldn't have been better. Beautiful surroundings and plenty of lovely quiet slopes for every ability. Another very successful and enjoyable holiday with Ski Miquel. Highly recommended.

Just returned from another fab skiing holiday with Ski Miquel Holidays. First time I’ve been to Lauterbrunnen and we were well looked after by Andy and his team. All the food was beautifully cooked by Kate, and served by Romy and Becca, who always had a smile on their faces. Thanks Andy and Abbie for your expert ski guiding, and showing us around the amazing Jungfrau range of mountains, as well as coping with the ever changing conditions, including a sand storm from the Sahara Desert. Loved the singing entertainment on Thursday night in the chalet by several of the guests. It was a week full of laughs, fun and lots of food and drink… in between skiing. Thanks again.
