Working Requirements

To work with us as a Chalet Host in Lauterbrunnen this winter, you must have the right to work in the UK as you will be seconded by our British company to work over in Switzerland for approximately 60-90 days under the Schengan Visa Waiver scheme.

Travel to areas in the Schengen area (that applies in Switzerland) is limited to a maximum of 90 days over a 180 day period, as a result, we are splitting our upcoming season in two halves for the Lauterbrunnen Hosts.  To be able to work with us, you cannot enter the Schengen area (other than to work for Ski Miquel) from the 8th September 2025 until the 7th July 2026, this period covers a position for either the start or end of the winter.

Weekly Overview

Please note that the information on this page should be read alongside the job description for this role.

Our Chalet Host position is a diverse role, with a variety of shifts that equate to approximately 40 hours per week.  Typically, the Hosts will have a bi-weekly rota that they work to with split-shifts most days, allowing you to have plenty of time out on the mountain, during the day.
