With personal consultation from your initial enquiry and the flexibility of our online portal allowing you to book ski hire and lift passes prior to departure, our booking process is a breeze. Your holiday starts with our charter flights and private coach transfer, allowing you to relax and enjoy the ride with your friends and family. In resort our hand-picked friendly team will settle you into your home for the week and with our much-loved ski hosting service provide an unforgettable on-mountain experience away from crowds. Off the mountain you can reflect on the fun had around an open fire with afternoon tea or over a cold beer and canapés at your own private bar before your 4-course meal with wine!

Qualifying terms:

Young children (aged 4 or under at the date of travel) do not count towards the group discount, as it is based upon the number of full-paying guests in the group, and any room-sharing reductions will not apply in addition to a group discount.
Guests who are paying a single supplement are not included in the qualifying numbers towards group reductions.
Group discounts only apply to our own chalet-hotels and are not available for any departure dates not listed above.

The more the merrier

Everyone knows that more is merrier, which is one reason why groups love coming away with Ski Miquel. You have a choice of chalet-hotels ranging from a maximum of 26 guests at the Chalet-Hotel Charlotte in Serre Chevalier up to a maximum of 42 at the Chalet-Hotel Lucille in Montgenèvre. Alongside our self-managed accommodation, we also work closely with third party hotels in some of our resorts, which act as great overflow options if your group increases in size.

Our properties are set up to provide a special social environment, so even if you can’t quite fill the place with your own group, you will make new friends and may even recruit more people for your next trip!

Whichever chalet-hotel you choose, you will experience a group buzz no matter what the week or the size of your party, as all our guests eat together and enjoy the communal spaces, whether relaxing in the comfort of the lounge or ‘hydrating’ at your own bar.

However, if you really want to put your own stamp on the week then why not take a chalet-hotel for sole occupancy? Having the place to yourself really makes the trip special and gives you the freedom to choose your own music at the bar and have our Ski Hosts take you where you want to go each morning.

Stress-free skiing

To be able to relax and unwind on the mountain, why not take advantage of our complimentary ski hosting sessions that our team will offer on 5 mornings of your holiday, which removes any stress involved with navigating around the mountains and allows you to enjoy the views and the ride.

You will also be shown the very best that each resort has to offer, maximising your enjoyment whatever the conditions, so why wait to discover what the resort can offer when the team can show you from day one? Please note that to be able to enjoy this experience, our guests must be able to ski a blue run well and a red run competently.

4-course dinner with wine, you've earnt it!

At the end of a long day on the mountain, it's important to eat correctly, and we ensure you do so by providing a 4-course meal on 6 nights of the week. The evening indulgence starts in the lounge area where you can enjoy canapés from the comfort of a sofa. After these have been polished off, at 8pm everyone takes a seat at our large tables to tuck into a starter, main course and dessert, all of which are accompanied with complimentary chalet wine. If at that point you still have a little space, the evening meal is wrapped up with a cheese course and the option of an accompanying glass of port.

We are well-practiced in group catering, and if your party has children we can offer a simplified version of the meal at an earlier sitting. We ask all our guests to provide details of any dietary requirements in advance to allow our chefs to plan accordingly ahead of your arrival. Each morning the main meal will be written on the board at breakfast, so you can plan your lunch accordingly and advise our team with time to spare if anyone is unable to eat what is being served that evening.

Tales of the day at your personal bar

There is no better way to wrap up an epic day than re-living the highlights with everyone involved over a refreshing drink or two, especially when you don’t have to put your shoes on! All our properties feature their own on-site private bar that is exclusively for Ski Miquel guests (except for the Chalet-Hotel Tannenburg in Bad Gastein, where you may be joined by the occasional ski instructor) and it also has the added bonus of being the cheapest in town!

We keep it simple and we don’t have tills, just a tab, so you have the freedom to pop down to the bar without worrying about your wallet, as if it was your own lounge at home. Even if none of your group are thirsty, you will be in the great company of one of our hosts.

Celebrations

Everyone loves a celebration, so if your group has a special occasion whilst you are away, be it an anniversary, birthday, or another cause to raise a glass, please be sure to let us know in advance so we can inform our staff in resort, who will then be able to offer a suitable cake or work with you to ensure it is a highlight of the week!

Fun off the slopes

We find it hard to comprehend, but we do understand that not everyone wants to ski all six days when in the mountains, or you may have group members who may not be able to ski. Never fear, as we have resorts with plenty on offer for non-skiers, such as Bad Gastein, which has plenty of character and offers horse-drawn sleigh rides through the forests, plenty of hiking trails, and a choice of spas to relax and recuperate in.

Effortless booking management

We try to make life as easy as possible for our party leaders, as we know how challenging it can be to organise a group ski trip. Our online booking portal allows each guest to enter their own personal information, make payments and book extras (such as lift passes and equipment rental), which removes a lot of the administration that previously would have been carried out via emails and phone calls.

Not everything in life is perfect, and with larger groups rooming can sometimes be a bit tricky. Whilst most of our rooms are based on two people sharing, we do have alternate rooms available for more specific group arrangements and we have two properties that are particularly good for groups with irregular rooming requirements for families or friends that just can’t be separated!

The Chalet-Hotel Lucille in Montgenèvre is the largest of our properties and has a range of multiple occupancy rooms, from triples to family rooms sleeping 4 or 5, and family suites that have two twin rooms with a shared bathroom. The property also boasts a separate lounge and bar area, which is ideal for getting together with your group after a hard day on the mountain.

The Chalet-Hotel Rosa nestled in the stunning village of Lauterbrunnen is our second most versatile chalet-hotel, offering guests a variety of twin, double, triple and family rooms.

We appreciate that life doesn't always go to plan and you may have issues that occur over the lifespan of your booking, particularly with larger groups. We are therefore available to speak to in person during the run-up to your holiday, including Saturday mornings as the season approaches, should you need to make any amendments to your holiday at all.
